The latest news from People of Color in Publishing

Last June, the publishing industry made a commitment to support its Black employees and authors and to be anti-racist. Now and always, publishing must fulfill these commitments and invest in the work of anti-racism. On the same day we learned of the guilty verdict in the trial of Derek Chauvin, we also learned about the killing of Ma'Khia Bryant. This tragedy just emphasizes that there is so much more that needs to be done in the pursuit of racial justice. Here are some some ways those in the publishing industry can support Black employees:

Supporting Black employees this week and beyond

Supporting the mental health of Black employees

The work continues: Black Americans stress that police reform is still needed
